A Tropical Palette

In order to allow prominence for the layby, it was a priority to ensure the building was placed in the foreground while the car park bays and other services were to be located behind the building. It was crucial that the building was seen from the highway as a way to draw in and attract the public. Fruits are the main focus for the design of Bukit Gantang layby, therefore the fruit stalls are redesigned to be presented as a centrepiece on carefully designed shelves rather than being a secondary feature. Not only that, we also introduced a unique component in the interior furniture layout by designing a co-working hub to accommodate for travellers that have the desire to work on the go, carry out meetings and discussions or charge their digital devices.
