The centre was designed to house the congregation to perform Friday prayers weekly as well as a resource centre for Islamic studies within the region. The centre would then be able to connect to other locations worldwide. It is designed in response to the climatic conditions in Malaysia while projecting its functions through detailed planning and use of landscaping in order to provide privacy and separation.
